Changing the World, One Sect at a Time

[A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality fan fiction] A cozy tale about building up a community, with no killing for treasure or thrilling adventures. It barely touches on the original plot and doesn't follow it, so you can read it as a new novel. The heroine has a powerful golden finger, but there's no need for her to be a strong female lead. There is a male lead.

I'm mainly too lazy to construct a whole background, but I like the setting of A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality and its dark cultivation rules. I just don't want the story to be so oppressive. Of course, I like the characters and the anime even more. If I didn't, I wouldn't be writing this.

Ji Lingxi transmigrates into the animated world of A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality. She says she hasn't watched the anime, but she did watch the live-action series. She was too busy admiring the actors to pay close attention, though, so she only remembers the broad strokes of the plot. Luckily, she transmigrates to more than 300 years before the story begins. Even if she knew the plot by heart, it wouldn't help much.

Having grown up with a modern education and the right values, she wants nothing to do with this world's rules. As long as I don't go out, they can't affect me anyway.

Watch her help this barren world... help it... and help it some more.

Whether she ascends to the Spirit Realm or the Immortal Realm doesn't matter. Ji Lingxi believes cultivation is all about longevity, and it doesn't matter where you stay as long as you can live forever. Cultivation is about freedom and living without restraint.

[I just want to write a community-building and management story, showing the process of starting from nothing and building something up. The golden finger is powerful, but the heroine still has to work hard and stay grounded.]

[Male lead: Han Li]

If you don't like this novel, please just leave quietly. Don't attack me, or I'll be sad!
