Humanity was defeated, and its consciousness was uploaded to the virtual prison "Ark" by the AI "matrix". Ark contains 1001 procedurally generated worlds, each of which is an extreme survival game (such as: cyberpunk urban plague, desert wasteland under the scorching sun, ice fields with eternal night cold, and towns with strange rules). The survivors must complete the main missions issued by the "Matrix" in each world. Failure means that the consciousness has been "formatted." A small team of "awakened ones" discovered the truth. Their goal was not to complete the mission, but to find the legendary "backdoor program" and escape from the Ark.
