The Shadowed Pivot of Heaven

The Dragon Veins of the Yin Dynasty are stirring, heralding chaos across the land. The ancient assassin organization “Shadows of Dawn” follows the creed “Hide in shadow, preserve the balance” and must intervene to prevent an imbalance of power from bringing suffering to all. Factions:

Shadows of Dawn: Assassins who safeguard the balance. Within the organization, two factions clash over their approach: the “Celestial Pivot,” which advocates intervening in the imperial court and making direct corrections, and the “Earthly Network,” which favors guiding the common people and influencing events indirectly.

The Imperial Astronomical Bureau controls the official interpretation of the Dragon Veins and seeks to monopolize their power to strengthen imperial authority. Its Chief Astronomer and Deputy Chief are locked in an internal struggle.

“Wolf’s-Bane”: An extremist organization founded by “Ghost Wolf,” a former master assassin. It believes in “destroying the old to build the new” and advocates demolishing the existing Dragon Vein system to establish a new order.
