Behind the seemingly peaceful world, there is a strange space called the "Abyss of Despair". The selected ones are called "Abyss Divers" and are forced to enter bizarre and dangerous dungeon worlds to survive. The copy originates from the fears, legends and historical afterimages in the collective subconscious of mankind. It is twisted and terrifying, and failure means real death. Shen Qingxian, an ancient book restorer who is cold and rational and possesses a rare eye for delusion, and Yesha, a seemingly cynical but in fact unpredictable music man who always has a mysterious smile, were accidentally involved in the "Abyss of Despair". One can see through illusions but is weak and easy to push down; the other is extremely powerful but too lazy to use his brain. The two met in a horror dungeon.
