[Agriculture + System + multiple heroines + army-building + cautious growth + feel-good power fantasy]
Chen Mo opened his eyes to find himself reborn in deep space, eight hundred million in debt, with a pack of wolves at his back!
From the start, all he had was a decrepit, loss-making Level One base and a crowd of “unfree people” clamoring to be fed.
Luckily, the “Endless System” awakened just in time, kicking off his mining and army-building journey, with blueprints handed out for free!
He'd planned to lie low and build up his strength, but then...
The Confederation's deputy commander: “Kid, pay up for protection!”
His own younger brother: “Bro, give me your money! I'll take your life too!”
Remnants of the old empire: “Nice base. It's mine now!”
Interstellar bureaucrat: “Son, have you been evading taxes?”
Chen Mo was furious. “So what if it's a Level One base? Just you wait!”
He'd crush this bunch of alien bumpkins with corporate management! Start by serving braised pork to the slaves? With advanced management techniques, he'd beat the entire universe at its own game!
When warships lined up and a Death Star lit up the starry sea,
the entire galaxy trembled. Had he really started out with a Level One base?!
Chen Mo: “I really did start with just a Level One base. Do you believe me?”
(Also known as “Interstellar Overlord? Raising One from a Level One Base!”, “Interstellar Overlord: Starting with an Interstellar Base and a Harem of Maids,” and “I Just Want to Become Emperor of the Stars. Why Are You All Throwing Yourselves at Me?”)
A very good book, but it was also very rushed. I hope that in reality, the author can calmly handle various emergencies like the protagonist and rise step by step. Looking forward to meeting next time
It's interesting, I like the novel that is linked to Endless Lagrange, it saves me the time of getting familiar with the ship and the background. Although the characterization is rather formulaic and simple, the overall performance is surprisingly good.
