In an apocalyptic disaster caused by a fungus, the world is plunged into silent terror. Fungal spores spread through the air, and infected people turn into monsters called "Listeners" that are extremely sensitive to sound. Ling Xiu, a former data analyst, relies on his extraordinary calmness and logic to survive in a corner of the city. But when his survival resources are exhausted, he has to embark on a journey with an uncertain future. His goal was a high-altitude weather observation station marked on the map. He concluded that it might be the only pure land that could avoid spores and "listeners". This is an escape that requires absolute silence. Any extra noise may lead to death.
