From helping the tieflings improve their lives in the narrow alleys, to fighting against the bullies who occupy the streets; from unexpectedly meeting Gary, a cheerful halfling poet who calls himself "Rogue", to working side by side with Mara, a tenacious druid who tracks natural imbalances; from resolving the misunderstanding of the dwarf warrior Thoradin, to getting to know the high elf mage Leia who is financially trapped... Archimonde's journey is not a traditional heroic epic, but a real-life adventure of finding self-worth in the shadows of a bustling city.
However, beneath the calm daily life, real darkness is growing. When the whispers of hell echo in the blood again, and when the conspiracy of the Nine Hells quietly approaches this undefended city, Archimonde must face his identity and past. His bond with his friends and his choice to stick to his heart will determine whether Neverwinter will usher in the dawn or fall into darkness forever.
This is a story about growth and perseverance. It tells the story of how a tiefling, in an imperfect world, uses his mortal body to do what is in his heart, and finally becomes the beam of light that illuminates the abyss.
