Heartfelt Messages

When eight strangers step before the cameras, an experiment in love and self-discovery quietly begins.

Classical dancer Shen Qingge enters the game with an air of detachment, only to unexpectedly become the center of the storm. Tech company founder Lu Yanze approaches her step by step with undisguised passion, while surgeon Shen Yuhuai's quiet devotion always seems to lie behind a faint, elusive veil. Between heartbeats and reason, her scales are slowly tipping.

Graphic designer Ye Zhen thinks she can keep a clear head in the game, until she meets two people who leave her completely flustered. The financial whiz Xie Zhiyao's push-and-pull, and photographer Jiang Linfeng's timely retreat, leave her constantly losing her way in an emotional maze.

Child psychology professor Su Wanyi is skilled at reading people's minds, but finds herself confused when it comes to her own. When she and Jiang Linfeng find common ground in their pain, an unexpected connection quietly begins to grow.

Art history doctoral student Shen Leyao is a restless ray of light, searching for answers of her own as she boldly pursues what she wants. When she finally understands her own heart, she discovers that love is never a simple matter of effort being rewarded.

In this summer captured on camera, everyone wavers between testing the waters and holding back, struggling between impulse and restraint. As the show draws to a close, will they choose the safety of returning to where they started, or bravely cross the boundary of a racing heart?

A real experiment in love, with eight tangled stories of complicated feelings caught between reason and emotion.
