Blue Star physicist Zhou Yueye accidentally transmigrates into Douluo during an experiment and develops a “Soul Beast Fusion Device.” Once a bond such as family affection or friendship reaches a full 100%, a person can transform and gain a soul beast skill, and even help the soul beast evolve.
He falls in love with Qian Renxue and has a daughter with her. But when their daughter is two, an energy storm erupts during research on the fusion device, accidentally separating him from Qian Renxue. He takes their daughter and transmigrates to a new continent on a mirror-image Douluo Star.
Believing that her husband and daughter have died, Qian Renxue resumes her “Xue Qinghe” identity and gets caught up in political intrigue. Meanwhile, Zhou Yueye draws on his maxed-out vitality to help his daughter survive on the new continent. As he strengthens their bond, uncovers the secrets of new soul beasts, and searches for a way to cross the ocean and find his wife, he vows to reunite his family and reshape the relationship between humans and soul beasts across Douluo.
