The apocalypse roars, and the gates of Hell swing open.
When the blood moon hangs in the sky and mutated monsters tear apart civilization, Chen Miao is just an ordinary man struggling to survive beneath the claws of zombies. The stench of death closes in, until a cold, mysterious voice rings out in his mind:
[Infinite Devouring Evolution System activated!]
Devour all things and make them your own!
Kill monsters, devour their energy, and evolve without limit! Starting as the weakest zombie, Chen Miao embarks on a mad evolutionary journey beyond all imagination. Others have to awaken their supernatural abilities. His power comes from devouring!
Devour a Corpse King to gain skin of bronze and bones of iron! Devour a Shadow Beast to gain the ability to slip through shadows! Devour a Flame Demon to command fire that scorches the heavens!
Strength, speed, regeneration, mental power... No bottlenecks, no limits! He rises from the ruins and battles through blood and fire. Everywhere he goes, even monsters tremble!
Yet as he keeps devouring, Chen Miao discovers that an even deeper darkness lies behind the apocalypse: mutation tides, rifts to other worlds, mysterious organizations, and... other System holders.
When the apocalypse’s veil of darkness finally falls, will he become humanity’s beacon of salvation, or... the nightmare at the end of all things, devouring everything?
“You all think I’m the hunter?” Chen Miao licks the blood from his fingertips and gazes at the terrifying zombie horde stretching before him like mountains and seas, a chilling smile on his face.
“No. I’m the greatest calamity in this wasteland!”
It's okay, just enough to watch
