Chen Mo, a military cryptography genius, lurked in the Wang Puppet Government's Telecommunications Department and obtained intelligence by deciphering the Japanese military's secret messages, only to discover that his immediate boss was actually an underground party member. He maneuvered among the three forces of the Japanese puppets, the military command, and the underground party.
