Universal Highway Survival: My Resource System Upgrades Without Limit
In 2024, all of humanity is transported without warning to the “Endless Highway,” an eternal road beneath a gloomy dome, bordered by dangerous regions such as deserts, snowy mountains, and abandoned cities. There are no rules here, only survival: monsters like “Night Stalkers” roam after dark, and resource points every hundred kilometers offer opportunities but are riddled with traps. Each person’s only support is the vehicle they are bound to at the start.
When Lin Chen, a recent college graduate, wakes up, he finds himself trapped in a Wuling Hongguang MINI with a dead battery. To his surprise, he activates the “Omni-Resource System,” which lets him exchange monster kills and completed missions for all kinds of supplies, including gasoline, weapons, and spare parts. With the System’s help, he not only overcomes the initial survival crisis, but also rescues Su Qingyue, a top mechanical engineering student, and Xia Wanxing, an emergency room doctor, from the chaotic global chat. He goes from being at odds with Chu Yanran, a former special forces soldier, to joining forces with her, and also meets Luo Li, a mysterious girl with the ability to sense danger. Together, they form the core team.
From adding armor plating and a turbocharger to the Wuling Hongguang, to turning it into an “apocalypse fortress” equipped with drone reconnaissance and an energy shield, and finally upgrading it into a “starship” capable of traversing space, Lin Chen’s vehicle remains the team’s strongest support. They explore the highway, compete with raiders for resources, and establish temporary safe zones. But fragments of Luo Li’s memories reveal a shocking truth: the “Endless Highway” is actually an experiment conducted by a higher civilization!
When the “Cleaners” arrive and the world teeters on the brink of collapse, Lin Chen takes the System as his core and his team as his wings, joining forces with survivors around the world for the final battle
