Top machinist Levi is world-famous for his groundbreaking "consciousness uploading" technology, which allows him to inject his consciousness into any machine for precision operation or remote control. During a seemingly routine data extraction mission on an old "Gladiator-III" war mech, he encountered an unknown energy pulse impact, and his consciousness was completely trapped in this rusty, incompletely functional steel cage. All contact with the outside world is cut off, and Levi must face a cruel countdown: the mecha's body is rusting rapidly, and the energy core is extremely unstable, and may be completely scrapped at any time, dragging him into eternal darkness.
