Travel notes. Zuo, a native of Emei (now part of Sichuan), was recruited as a Jinshi in the 7th year of Xining (1074) and went to the Dali State Council to buy war horses. This article records how he led his team from Sichuan, passed through Xuhen and Shumi minority areas, arrived at the Dali State Council, and returned. The socio-economic and living customs of the ethnic minorities and Dali Kingdom recorded along the way are first-hand materials for studying the social culture of the area during the Song Dynasty. The people of the Song Dynasty personally visited Sichuan and Yunnan, and even went to Dali. This is the only record of what they saw and heard that has been passed down to this day. This note is included in Volume 267 of "Xu Zi Zhi Tong Jian Chang Bian". Although it is an excerpt, it is precious.
