Under the old locust tree at the end of the alley, Mo Yan, Bai Ze and Duan Jia Xu bonded over a rag doll and became an inseparable "iron triangle". From childhood sweethearts who buried tacit time capsules, to the ignorant heartbeats and choices in adolescence, to falling in love in college, working together in the workplace, and getting married, the three of them have gone hand in hand for more than twenty years. As time goes by, the warm sunshine at the end of the alley remains the same, and the old locust tree witnesses their friendship and love, from youth to maturity, and finally find each other's happy destination in the care of daily necessities, rice, oil, salt and warmth.
