Iron Dawn: Starting in 1930

What could you do to defend yourselves if these Eighth Route Army guerrillas came after you with grenade launchers and homemade 12.7 mm guns? What? You want to know where the weapons came from? They grew out of the ground, of course.

Yeah, just kidding.

Everything was built one step at a time,

starting with iron smelting and steelmaking, then moving on to machine tools, skilled workers, and energy, gradually building up manufacturing. This isn't some wish-fulfillment story where you can make anything just because you have the blueprints.

The focus is on following the development of industrial foundations.

I'm not great at writing blurbs, and my writing skills are limited. Everyone's welcome to join the discussion about where the plot should go.
