General Ye, Please Stop Climbing the Wall!

[Gentle, kind beauty of a wealthy family × starved-for-love God of War general] [Historical romance | Sweet romance | Healing | Secret crush | Devoted dog | Happy ending] A general, the only son of a military family, falls for the gentle and charming daughter of a Grand Tutor. He is a descendant of a military family, cold on the outside but desperately starved for love within. She is a frail, ailing young woman from a distinguished family, yet steadfast in character and upright in nature. On the Lantern Festival, the heroine Xie Shiyun publicly stood up for the hero Ye Qiyang at the Star-Picking Pavilion, even though they had never met. He happened to hear her, and grew curious. “This young woman is rather interesting. She doesn't know me, yet she's defending me.” At the palace banquet on the Qixi Festival, the hero, a real “scheming boy,” deliberately played the victim when the Crown Prince gave him a hard time, prompting the upright heroine to help him... In this six-year age-gap romance, the younger hero often pretends to be pitiful early on to win the heroine's sympathy and favor, bringing them closer. Once he realizes his feelings, he begins his pure-love quest to win her over, becoming a devoted, big puppy of a man who protects her.
