A Reverse Journey for the Scriptures: All the Monsters Are on My Side

I transmigrated into Journey to the West as an immortal herb, only to be trapped on Five Finger Mountain from the start!

I’m Chu Feng, an utterly ordinary quasi-sage tool character.

My daily tasks are:

1. Watch the monkey

2. Ponder life

3. Figure out how to escape

Five hundred years later, Tang Sanzang arrives with his “Y-Y-DS” boy band! I seize the chance to hitch a ride and become the fifth member of the scripture-seeking party. From then on, the journey becomes one delicious surprise after another. Monsters: “Tang Sanzang’s flesh is delicious!” Me: “Hey, monster girl, you’ve got a remarkable build. How about joining my deluxe package?” Sun Wukong: “What use is this iron staff to me?” Me: “Don’t lose heart, Brother Monkey. Learn from me: with a staff in hand, the whole world is yours!” Tang Sanzang: “Amitabha. I came to seek the scriptures, not to watch the show!” Me: “Master, times have changed!” This is the story of an irreverent mountain god and an even more irreverent crew, laughing their way through Journey to the West.
