The Snow Wolf's War of Resistance

In 1938, the flames of war engulfed North China, and the Japanese army's iron heel crushed countless homes. Cao Zhengyang, once a company commander in the Nationalist Army, could no longer stomach factional infighting and half-hearted resistance. He brought his trusted men over to the Eighth Route Army, where he was tasked with forming a special unit codenamed Snow Wolf. The team brought together top talent from every field: sharpshooters, combat engineers, and scouts, as well as Chen Jing, a female fighter from Beiping. Fluent in Japanese and skilled with codes, she became the team's coolheaded, meticulous strategist, shattering everyone's prejudices about women.

From their early days learning to work together to missions deep behind enemy lines, the Snow Wolf unit wreaked havoc right under the Japanese army's nose with its tactics of infiltration by small teams and precision strikes. They raided an airfield and destroyed its planes, fought their way out of an encirclement during an anti-mopping-up operation, broke through the blockade of the Japanese army's 'cage policy,' and even faced off against the elite Japanese Special Forces. Together with the underground party, they built an intelligence network, risked their lives to rescue Allied pilots, and fought desperately for survival in a bacteria laboratory.

Amid flashing blades and gunfire, Cao Zhengyang unleashes a merciless counterattack, driven by the massacre of his home village. Chen Jing maintains her composure despite the pain of losing her family. And under the banner of the nation's cause, a group of fighters forge bonds of life and death. The threat of traitors, the loss of comrades, and a final showdown with the Japanese commander push them to the brink again and again, but each time, Snow Wolf's fangs grow sharper.

From the smoke of war to the dawn of victory, this unit tears through the darkness with their own flesh and blood, writing their resistance in sacrifice. When the bugle announcing victory in the War of Resistance finally sounds, the surviving members either return home to rebuild or set out on a new journey. The heroes buried in this land will never be forgotten.
