On the Stage, I Slay Demons as a God

On the Opera Stage, I Wield the Power of the Gods to Slay Demons At the end of a dynasty, war fires burned across the land, and the eerie and unnatural began to flourish. Wang Luo, an actor as lowly as dust, happened upon the power of the gods and drew it into his mortal body. From then on, he takes the stage in painted makeup to sing of joy and sorrow, then wipes it away, draws his blade, and slays demons! Those who bully the market and harm their neighbors: Kill! Witches and shamans who prey on the living: Kill! Those who abduct children and mutilate them for profit: Kill! Those who sell opium and poison the people: Kill! Those who traffic in people and force good women into prostitution: Kill! Court officials who manipulate the hearts of the people: Kill! Foreign marauders who run rampant on the seas: Kill! This is a legend of vanquishing evil, born from the tales of the opera and fueled by righteous passion. When the mortal realm is a living hell, I shall take on the aspect of a god and purge it of every demon and fiend!
