His Majesty Is Always Biting Me

The day Liao Tingyan transmigrated into Xian Yu as Sima Jiao's imperial consort, she learned that the sinister emperor had a chillingly bizarre habit. Rumor had it that he bit the necks of women in the palace in the dead of night, leaving every consort trembling with fear. She had no choice but to sleep by day and sneak around at night to avoid his attention, but one night she was caught red-handed.

Sima Jiao's icy fingertips brushed her trembling throat. “Are you afraid of me, my consort?”

Liao Tingyan shut her eyes and played dead. “Your Majesty, I... I have irregular periods!”

The pain she expected never came. Instead, she heard a low chuckle. “What a coincidence. I specialize in treating that.”

As he bent down and bit through the skin of her neck, only one thought remained in Liao Tingyan's mind:

How had no one told her this tyrant's fangs injected a venom that made her entire body tingle?
