The Green Mountains Stand Tall

Green Mountains Above is a long realist novel about officialdom. It follows Lin Mo, director of the poverty alleviation office at a county education bureau, as he pits his wits and courage against corrupt forces to protect 16 million yuan in education poverty-relief funds. In the end, he helps establish a transparent oversight platform that returns power to the people, embodying the convictions and sense of responsibility of grassroots public servants.
