Self-Driving Adventures

In the trunk, the faded camouflage uniform was still stained with the gravel of the individual training ground. Azheng, the former captain of the People's Liberation Army training team, was fastening the safety seat of his son "Running Man". Ever since they stepped onto the national highway with their little fists clenched at the age of two, the father and son's wheels have never stopped. They want to write a different growth diary between heaven and earth. The two-year-old "runner" stumbled around chasing the sunset in the Dunhuang Gobi, and refused to stop even though his little shoes were filled with sand; when he was three years old, he stood on tiptoe and handed the porter half a bottle of water on the Tea Horse Road. The old porter smiled and touched his head and stuffed the dried wild dates into his pocket; on a rainy day when he was four years old, Ah Zheng used the field skills of the training team to set up a rainproof tent, but his son quietly arranged the picked wild fruits into a five-pointed star and said "Looks like Abba's medal." The journey is never easy. Under the snow-capped mountains in the Tibetan area, they met the old lama who guarded the temple and listened to him telling stories about the starry sky; on the edge of the grassland and swamps, Ah Zheng used his tactical experience to rescue the shepherd who was trapped in the car. The "runner" held up a toy walkie-talkie and "scheduled" the rescue in a decent manner. Ah Zheng taught his son to recognize the stars and identify directions, but his son taught him: Don't always stare at the road ahead. The wild flowers on the roadside and the grass in the cracks of the rocks are all worth stopping to take a look at. Beside the 100,000-kilometer road monument, the "runner" held up the shells he picked up and asked his father: "Can I go see the sea at the next stop?" Ah Zheng looked at his son's shining eyes and suddenly understood: this self-driving was never about escaping, but using the shoulders of an iron-blooded soldier to support a world where the children could run freely.
