In the near future, people have mastered the technology of uploading consciousness and storing memories digitally. People can pay to "host" painful memories that they don't want to carry, or "rent" others' specific emotional experiences, such as the joy of victory and the sadness of parting, for creation. The service is run by a company called Mental Horizon, which promises to "carry the load for you." But are the stored memories really safely "sealed"? Will they become data commodities? Or even... Generate some kind of "collective consciousness"? The protagonist is a user who is accidentally involved. He discovers that someone begins to receive memory fragments that do not belong to him. When these fragments are pieced together, they actually point to a forgotten unsolved case or a huge conspiracy. Technology is no longer a cold tool, but has become a source of fear and unknown. The story begins here.
