Reborn in 1918 with a War System

Lin Chen, a history graduate student in the 21st century, dies suddenly of a heart attack and unexpectedly becomes reborn in the Republic of China in 1918 as the only son of the Lin family, a merchant household in Suzhou. Along with his rebirth comes the “War System,” which helps him obtain resources, skills, and talent through missions amid the chaos.

Knowing the course of modern history, Lin Chen resolves to seize the opportunities of his era. He first travels with his father to build up capital and learn the state of the world. Then, in 1924, he enters the Whampoa Military Academy. With the System as his wings and his knowledge as his blade, he presses forward through warlord conflicts and revolutionary upheaval. In this turbulent age, he vows to protect his family, find a way to save the country, and write his own legend.
