A Comedian? Are You Sure You're a Comedian?

Rule One: Comedic characters should always follow their core purpose and bring people joy, not create fear and murder!

Rule Two: Comedic characters’ props should be strange and funny, but never cause fatal injuries. They’re not weapons meant to take lives!

Rule Three: Comedic characters aren’t super beasts. They experience emotions like fear!

Yang Tianxing glanced at the note in his hand and rolled his eyes. Then he tore it to pieces.

“Whoever came up with these rules must be an idiot. Don’t they know comedic characters ignore all rules?”

As he spoke, Yang Tianxing grinned from ear to ear, showing his back teeth. He spotted something strange in a certain direction, put a finger to his lips in a shushing gesture, and crept toward a tightly shut door. He tried it gently. It was locked from the inside.

But that wouldn’t stop him. He slipped his hand through the gap in the door, felt around, found the lock, and quietly turned it to release the bolt. Then he reached in and eased the door open from the inside.

He crept in stealthily. Before entering, he looked in a certain direction and gave a big smile. Finally, he closed the door.
