[Gender transformation + the uncanny + cosmic horror]
Su Ran crawled out of a graveyard and realized he seemed to have arrived in another world. A mysterious girl connected to him inside his body gave him the power to resonate with her, allowing him to turn into a girl. But this power came at a price: he would slowly become a girl.
Su Ran insisted that he was all man and would never succumb to becoming a girl. But no one could predict what the future held. He still ended up going all the way down the path of becoming a girl…
This world teems with uncanny creatures and beings from legend, said to have originated in a contamination from the Old Era. The people of the New Era are forced, step by step, to accept the contamination, becoming supernatural beings who coexist with it, or turning into uncanny entities themselves.
But humanity is far from united. Nations and factions are locked in bitter conflict as they vie for the power of the gods, while ordinary people and low-level supernatural beings are merely stepping-stones for kings and politicians seeking that power.
This is a turbulent age, one where ugliness and distortion go hand in hand…
This book is really good to read, especially when it describes Lu Bu's hundreds of rounds of battle with Sun Wukong Qa for Dong Zhuo, but Xue Baochai is really too strong. If it weren't for Nuoshou's outer ring hanger + Noxian guillotine, this wave of M4 six times strafing would kill him. Apart from that, I prefer Zhuge Liang's use of flowers. A sentence said by 108 Monkeys in Guoshan: "Young man, don't show off your arrogance in front of your Brother Liang", which shows Zhuge Liang's indignation at the monkey knocking him to death with three sticks. All in all, this book has an interesting plot, a clear system, many foreshadowing fighting scenes that make you feel like you are actually there, and the character description is very good! Not bad, why is the heroine the one below?
