Set in the world of a popular mobile game, this story follows Lin Chen, an ordinary college student who returns to gaming after a breakup and unexpectedly teams up with Su Muqing, a semi-pro “jungle queen.” From their awkward first encounter on an island to the growing understanding they find fighting side by side in ranked matches, every chicken dinner and every battle they face together brings their hearts closer.
They cross the line between reality and virtual worlds, from a shy meeting at a milk tea shop to winning a campus tournament together, but an offer to go pro puts their relationship to the test with a long-distance challenge. Clashes on the battlefield, crises of trust, attacks from haters, and injuries can't stop them. In the end, they lead their team to the world championship and claim the title before a cheering crowd, then make a lifelong promise on the winners' podium.
From gaming friends to professional teammates, from inexperienced lovers to partners for life, this romance that began in Peacekeeper Elite witnesses the blossoming of an esports dream and proves that “passion and companionship make the most moving headshot.”
