Synopsis of *Hidden Dragon in the Abyss*
Lin Feng, an illegitimate son of the Lin family, is born with just one spiritual meridian and branded a “good-for-nothing.” His family ostracizes him, his fiancée Su Meier publicly breaks off their engagement, and his legitimate elder brother Lin Hao beats him to the brink of death and abandons him in an abandoned mine. At his lowest point, he unexpectedly awakens a black stone talisman within his body and meets the remnant soul Elder Xuan. He unlocks heaven-defying abilities such as “Devour and Transform” and “Simulated Deduction,” and from then on embarks on a path to rise above his circumstances.
With the stone talisman’s help, Lin Feng secretly cultivates. He makes a stunning debut in the Lin family’s small-scale tournament, wins the Qingyang City martial arts tournament, and delivers face-slapping to everyone who looked down on him. After entering the Qingyun Sect, he keeps a low profile, breaks through by absorbing discarded energy in the servant quarters, and plays the pig to eat the tiger in the outer sect tournament. He wins an ancient inheritance during an excursion into a secret realm and exposes the inner sect’s senior disciple for conspiring with a rival sect, saving his sect from disaster.
After leaving the Qingyun Sect, Lin Feng enters the Eastern Profound Domain. From emerging as a dark horse in the “War of the Hundred Nations’ Young Geniuses,” to unlocking new features of the stone talisman at the “Saintfall Ruins,” to exposing the Law Enforcement Hall’s plot with the demon race and becoming the “Eastern Profound Black Wind Sixth,” his name resounds throughout the Eastern Profound Domain. He is then invited to the Holy Land Academy in Central Divine Province, where he continues to conceal his strength, crushes the scions of great clans at the “Gathering of a Hundred Saints,” obtains a complete divine talisman in an ancient imperial tomb, destroys the Ji family that hunted him, and joins forces with the powers of Divine Province to repel the vanguard of the Nine Nether Demon Realm. He is honored as the “Eastern Profound Saint Lord.”
As the secrets of the stone talisman are gradually revealed, Lin Feng learns that he is the reincarnation of the Creator God, and that his single crippled meridian is a seal known as the “Dust Tribulation.” To protect the peace of the heavens, he leads his companions deep into the Nine Nether Demon Realm and subdues the Demon Lord; ventures into the ruins of the God Realm, awakens the Creator’s inheritance, and unlocks the stone talisman’s ultimate ability; then finally gathers the powers of the myriad realms at the edge of chaos
