Tragic Bad-End Stories: Heartbreak from Start to Finish, the Kind That Makes You Cry a Chapter at a Time

I don't want a story where a scumbag mistreats the heroine and then regrets it and reforms. I want a story where the leads truly love each other, but face threats, amnesia, cancer, injuries, kidnapping, gunfights, and all kinds of hardships before the ending is tragic. If there aren't any, a happy ending is fine too, but a tragic ending is my preference.
