I’m Not a Liar, I’m a Director!

Female reporter: “Mr. Zhang Yuan, there’s been a lot of talk about you online lately. The Nobel Prize for Best Director and your place among Time magazine’s Ten Outstanding Young People are both fake. What do you have to say for yourself?”

Zhang Yuan: “Rumors! It’s all complete nonsense! I was the one who spearheaded the creation of the Nobel Prize for Best Director. I was onstage at the awards ceremony and personally handed myself the medal. How could that possibly be fake?”

“And as for Time magazine, I put up the money when it was founded, recruited every member of the team myself, and even oversaw every detail of the layout. I was the cover star of the very first issue, wearing the dark blue formal suit I had on when I attended a forum in Switzerland last year. If you don’t believe me, look it up online!”

Female reporter: “But...”

Zhang Yuan’s voice was magnetic. “Miss Reporter, don’t rush to talk about that. I noticed you a moment ago. You stood there so elegantly, with such fair, delicate skin, and you have a wonderfully graceful air when you speak. You can tell at a glance you’re a talented young woman. I happen to be preparing a new movie. Would you be interested in auditioning?”

Female reporter: “Huh? I... Could I really?”

Zhang Yuan nodded slightly.

I give a million to everyone who betrays me!

Those who stay loyal to me get several hundred million!

Let me hear you applaud!!!

Song Bowen: “Exactly, that’s the kind of guy Brother Zhang is!”

Employee A: “Stick with Brother Zhang, and you’ll buy a car in one year, a house in two, and make the Forbes list in three!”

Employee B: “He’s no con man. He’s a good man who helps us make our dreams come true!”
