Are You Crazy? Using a Suona to Exorcise Demons on a Dating Show

Crazy? Using a suona to drive out evil spirits on a dating show tells the story of Ruan Qiqi, a notorious beauty with a reputation as a talentless pretty face, who storms into the hit dating show Heartbeat Trap armed with a suona. She breaks the deadlock with madness and exposes hypocrisy by being even crazier. She plays a funeral-music version of Love Loop, drums up a “Food God Summoning Song” on a stainless-steel basin, and uses her suona to expose a scheming green tea. Her quotable lines set the trending charts ablaze. Top-tier star and music producer Xie Linfeng shares her taste for the absurd, and together the two drive away NPCs and shatter false affection. In this bizarre yet all-too-real portrait of the entertainment industry, Ruan Qiqi uses her madcap antics to tear away the masks and ultimately becomes the “entertainment industry's judge,” while finding a one-of-a-kind love born from the collision of madness and sincerity.
