Li Bai, the Daoist of the Three Immortals

This novel tells the story of Li Bai’s cultivation, literary pursuits, and attempts to win the favor of powerful lords. It portrays his conflicted life: he longs to enter government service and accomplish great things, yet also yearns to withdraw from the world and cultivate in seclusion. He repeatedly struggles between ideals and reality, while pursuing martial arts and striving to transcend the ordinary.
