(This is mainly about funny everyday school life, so if that’s not your thing, you might want to give it a miss!)
Qin Liangyu, the real heiress who grew up away from her birth family, is finally reunited with her wealthy parents, only to find that she seems to have landed in a different “mental hospital.” Her grandfather uses management theory to analyze family relationships, and her aunt stays single to avoid catching an STD... Qin Liangyu is so normal that she doesn’t fit in!
She dives headfirst into high school, only to discover that it’s even more insane!
During a nighttime run at military training, she and school bully Wen Langyi are mistaken by the head of discipline for “a young couple who don’t know each other,” and the whole school gets an announcement about it;
In class, she can get into an argument with her deskmate over the Chongzhen Emperor, shout “The Great Ming is invincible!” and get punished with a mission to restore the Ming and overthrow the Qing;
In physics class, she can watch the “security guard teacher” black out the entire building;
When she’s starving, she can lead the “Fried Rice Five” in a nighttime raid on the cafeteria, only to get called out in the teachers’ group chat;
She can help her deskmate write a love letter that turns into a “science student’s guide to romance,” only to put the wrong name on it;
Her weekly journal can become the class’s “Chronicles of the King of Crap,” triggering a disastrous reading session;
And her online classes can drive the chemistry teacher to stew the teaching assistant who was helping “highlight the key points.”
None of her friends, Zhang Wei, Qian Tong, Li Lei, and Han Meimei, are normal either.
Every single one of them is a walking comedy act.
In this joyful sea of absurdity, Qin Liangyu and Wen Langyi, the school bully who looks cold but might be a bit of a goofball inside too, go from one bizarre episode to the next, from freshman year to senior year. With her “normal” way of thinking, she proves one thing: maybe she isn’t the most normal person around, but she’s definitely the one who makes the world funnier!
This is a laugh-out-loud story of crazy antics, friendship, growing up, and everyday school life that never follows the rules.
It's good to watch, I love watching it, but the male lead is so out of place.
