The protagonist Lin Mo is a modern-day reclusive descendant of Maoshan who accidentally travels to an old world full of zombies and ghosts. In this world, he met the legendary Uncle Jiu and became his teacher, learning Maoshan Taoism and ghost-catching skills. With a deeper understanding of this world, he discovered that the zombies here were not ordinary undead, but puppets controlled by an ancient evil force. Lin Mo not only has to adapt to this strange world, but also helps Uncle Jiu fight against evil forces and uncover the truth behind zombies. The story combines elements of classic zombie movies and presents a horrifying, mysterious and horror world full of Eastern metaphysics.
