Myriad worlds + witches + a complicated mix of elements.
The school setting is just a transition, and the world is not entirely Lovecraftian. There are ordinary stretches of time, too, and the protagonist is a little crazy.
The eternal sun will eventually go out, and the endless sea of dreams will eventually dry up. I witness it all.
I remember the gods falling from their thrones, their bones laid out as steps for a new sun to ascend to godhood. I understand the madmen who seek truth and collapse upon learning it is false, and the despair of the witch atop the tower when the world becomes a prison. I see the primordial sun rise from the darkness, and the mad evil god overturn the world with his own hands. I also see myself standing atop the sea of dreams, driven to madness by false truths.
So on that day, I buried it all with my own hands.
I came from an ordinary life and ascended into myth; I set out in ignorance and sought the truth. But when everything turned out to be false, I buried it all with my own hands and returned to the mortal world.
Mystery shatters the calm of campus, and fragments of the ancient past awaken in the pale light.
This time, I am still the witch of the White Tower, the mad seeker of truth, the evil god who destroys the world, and the primordial sun.
I am still that madman who longs to transcend and explore everything.
But this time, I am no longer alone.
In fact, the writing is good () but it needs resonance.
