Yelu Qi, the greatest War God of all time, ended the millennia-long war between gods and demons single-handedly, yet failed to see the danger lurking closest to him.
On the triumphant night he ascended to the divine throne and received the worship of all living beings, his most trusted personal disciple suddenly turned on him. A poisoned blade pierced his heart, and divine blood stained the throne. The world believed the War God had succumbed to old wounds and died in disgrace. Only the Black Tortoise Divine Lord was certain: this was a carefully plotted scheme to murder their master.
Yelu Qi burned through his last divine power and entrusted his remnant soul to his life-bound divine weapon, the Shishen Sword, before falling into the mortal world and sinking into silence for ten thousand years. Only now did he understand that the root of the betrayal was the divine blood of the Vermilion Bird, White Tiger, Azure Dragon, and Black Tortoise, which he had bestowed upon his four disciples! The foolish disciples believed that their inability to break through to the Divine King realm was because their master had withheld his true teachings. Only by taking his bloodline, they thought, could they transcend.
After ten thousand years in a deadly stalemate, could there really be no countermeasure?
Of the four disciples, only the Black Tortoise had never forgotten his master's kindness, enduring and lying low. When the Shishen Sword finally came into the possession of a young royal from the Black Tortoise Continent, Xuanchen Daotu, a revenge and reckoning spanning the ages quietly began at last.
Reclaim the divine blood and purge the traitors!
In this life, Yelu Qi will not only reclaim his divine throne and cut down every rebel, but also cross beyond the reach of all others and ascend to the Divine Emperor!
This is an epic that begins with betrayal and ends in transcendence.
Watch the War God of the ages rise again in a mortal body, reunite the divine blood, and point his sword at the heavens, making the gods tremble and kneel before the Emperor's wrath!
Very good, looking forward to the next plot
