Modern office drone Li Yan transmigrates into the Qin dynasty as a minor clerk in the Xianyang prefecture. On his very first day, he stumbles upon a mess of false entries during an audit of the granary.
He sorts it out with double-entry bookkeeping and builds a simple waterwheel to relieve the drought, unexpectedly catching the First Emperor’s attention.
From then on, he uses his military engineering ingenuity to build firearms and improve warships. Rising from the lowest ranks, he leads Qin’s armies in sweeping across Europe, Asia, and Africa, eventually unifying the entire world under Great Qin!
