A once-prosperous historic town is rocked by a horrifying massacre during the Republican era. An investigation by a young police officer sets off a nationwide storm. Ordinary people navigate warlords, clans, bandits, and cults, surviving in the cracks between them in a series of colorful and hilarious stories. This work is a work of fiction based on historical events. The characters, events, and dialogue are fictional. Although it draws on historical sources and folk legends related to the Jishui River basin, the plot has been artistically adapted for dramatic effect and should not be taken as a precise representation of real history.
I won't write suspense novels anymore, my brain cells are all boiling. . . . The events must be written clearly, the foreshadowing must be laid, and the conflict must be established. The most difficult thing is to be logical. . . . . So tired 😂. Although my mind is very tired, I still enjoy reading it by myself every time I compile a chapter [laughs] I hope readers can provide more comments and suggestions, sincerely. This is also my first time writing a novel. Still lack of experience. Thank you again for taking the time to read my novel, thank you very much!!!
I read more than half of it in one go. Every line is interesting and the characters have distinct and vivid personalities. I had never read anything about the background of the Republic of China before. When I read the introduction, it was either a domineering warlord or someone who was an enemy of the country and the family. But this novel is based on a small character. So far, there is no lofty mission or character design. It is just a down-to-earth little character. Highly recommended!!!!!
Wonderful, so wonderful
Humorous, you can take a look at the idea
It has great potential to be adapted to the big screen, and each character is very distinct.
