From the Start, I Awaken the Tathagata, and You Tell Me, ‘Fatso, Get Lost!’

Ye Haoran is reborn in a parallel world where a cataclysm has left the entire Earth with a cultural void, and every nation knows nothing about its own ancient civilization.

After the cataclysm, Awakeners can form contracts with heroic spirits, and the heroic spirits of every nation turn out to be figures from its mythology!

Yang Jian: A useless bachelor who keeps a dog? You mean me, the True Lord Erlang, the Manifest Sage?!!!

Monkey King: You think I escaped from a zoo? I'll smash you with my staff...

These incredibly powerful heroic spirits are mistaken for useless ones. Not only are they easy to contract with, they're strong too. Unfortunately, nobody knows about them.

Thanks to his knowledge of Chinese civilization, Ye Haoran successfully forms a contract with the Buddha.

“Move it, fatty!”

Seeing that nobody has the slightest idea who the Buddha is, Ye Haoran can only shake his head. But inside, he's already over the moon.

Years later, when Ye Haoran leads China to the pinnacle of the world, everyone will realize just how terrifying the boy who awakened a supposedly useless heroic spirit truly was!
