Modern best friends Lin Wei and Su Qing accidentally touch an ancient mirror and transmigrate together to a fictional dynasty, where they become lowly convict slaves.
Calm and levelheaded Lin Wei and bright, cheerful Su Qing refuse to give in to despair. Using their modern knowledge, they turn the tables against the odds.
Together, they found the Wei Qing Pavilion, making a name for themselves in the capital with stunning designs, sharp business savvy, and exceptional intelligence. They earn a fortune and win the hearts of the wise Prince Xie Jinzhi and the formidable General Xiao Yu.
But success invites trouble, and schemes and obstacles soon come one after another.
The sisters face it all together, deliver face-slapping comeuppances to vicious rivals, outwit corrupt nobles, and even get swept up in turbulent court struggles and a battle for the throne.
One becomes the mistress of a prince's household, masterfully directing affairs; the other becomes a general's wife, shining brightly.
As they find success and love, they stay true to their ideals, establish schools for girls, and improve ordinary people's lives, profoundly changing the constraints society places on women.
This is a feel-good story about two best friends who transmigrate together and, through mutual trust and modern thinking, rise from humble beginnings to the peak of success. In the end, they find both love and success, and live like legends.
