Yu Linglong, a young woman from the Dragon Gate Tavern, had been living an ordinary life until she unexpectedly discovered an unparalleled divine sword, shattering her peaceful existence. The sword’s appearance drew the covetous attention of many powerful factions, and as she investigated the identity of those hunting her, she stumbled upon the mystery of her own origins.
As the clues came together, Yu Linglong was shocked to learn that her mother had been a princess of the previous dynasty’s royal family, and that she herself bore royal blood. The truth behind her family’s destruction was more complicated than it seemed, and the seed of vengeance took root in her heart.
She roamed the martial world with her sword. When she witnessed bandits running rampant, she stepped in to wipe them out and protect the people with a chivalrous heart. When martial artists of ill repute wreaked havoc, she stood up to punish the wicked and defend the innocent, gradually making a name for herself. Later, when the borderlands were in danger, she resolutely headed north to defend the realm, leading righteous warriors against foreign invaders. When treacherous officials held sway at court, she infiltrated the capital to aid loyal ministers and rid the country of corrupt officials.
Tempered by the trials of the martial world and the nation’s crises, Yu Linglong’s martial arts reached ever-greater heights, and her resolve grew stronger with each passing day. In the end, her extraordinary strength and lofty reputation earned her the position of Martial Alliance Leader. With a chivalrous spirit and a tender heart, she brought order to the martial world and safeguarded peace in her homeland, becoming a revered grandmaster of her generation…
