Dream of the Red Chamber: After Becoming Tanchun's Older Brother

Jia Pu dreams his way into Dream of the Red Chamber, where he becomes a pair of dragon-and-phoenix twins with Tanchun. He had thought he might enjoy a romantic, enchanting romance, but having read the history books, he quickly realizes that the dynasty is in its final days. Peasant uprisings and bandit invasions are frequent, the imperial family is greedy for wealth, powerful clans manipulate the government, and while music and dancing fill the grand mansions, piles of bones lie by the roadside.

So he reaches out to his younger sister, who displayed a talent for reform in the book. "Sis, if we're going to do this, let's go big. How about reforming a country with your big brother?"

This book absolutely respects the original characters, though the setting will be adjusted, and many scenes from the original will be retained.

The male lead is Tanchun's dragon-and-phoenix twin, one year younger than Baoyu and Daiyu.
