"Animism Chen Zhiyi" takes Jiangnan Pharmacy as the stage and weaves a gentle story that spans humans and animals and connects time and emotions.
The story begins with Chen Zhiyi's encounter with a wolf cub with a broken leg. The scent of medicine under the eaves of the green tiles became the beginning of this fate - she used herbal medicine to heal the wolf pups' injuries, and the recovered wolf pups (and later the wolf pack) responded with wild fruits and prey in the mountains and forests, continuing this concern year after year. The wolf hair in the medicine book, the chestnut shell in the old wooden box, and the tinkling copper bell on the corner of the eaves have all become traces left by time, confirming the warmth of "all things have spirits".
