"War and Peace" describes the entire process of the Russo-French War in 1812. It uses the activities of the four aristocratic families at that time as clues to reflect many major historical events from 1805 to 1820, as well as the real life of all classes. It criticizes those nobles who speak elegantly but ignore the fate of the motherland. It praises the patriotism and heroism displayed by the younger generation in the war. It is an epic masterpiece.
