After working overtime nonstop, office drone Lin Weiwei dies suddenly and unexpectedly binds herself to the “Win the Harem Without Lifting a Finger System.” Her soul transmigrates into the vicious cannon-fodder supporting heroine of a historical romance novel, a concubine-born third daughter of the Prime Minister who is about to be sent to the palace as a stepping stone for the main couple's love story. Her ending is horrific.
System: “Hello, Host. Ultimate mission: avoid your death ending and become the biggest winner in the harem, or just kill the emperor and become empress yourself? Complete it to win a billion-dollar reward and be reborn in the modern world!”
Lin Weiwei: “...A harem struggle? No way! I just want to lie flat, eat, and wait to die.”
System: “Warning! Failure to complete missions will trigger electric shocks! High-quality male targets detected: a sinister crown prince on the path to corruption, a graceful and refined prince, a loyal yet cunning guard, a wild prince from an enemy kingdom... Host, pursue them actively and absorb their ‘fortune points’ to stay alive!”
Faced with the System's daily ridiculous missions, for example, feeding the crown prince poisoned pastries by hand, jumping into a lake to get a prince's attention, and spying on the guard while he bathes, Lin Weiwei grumbles furiously to herself as she's forced to play along for the sake of survival (and the reward). Yet by a stroke of fate, every move she makes lands perfectly on an unexpected rhythm...
Watch as a modern-day office drone who has given up on life navigates the harem struggle against her will, complains about the System, and accidentally captivates one handsome man after another, ultimately uncovering the truth and finding love and success in her own unconventional version of winning without lifting a finger!
[A timid yet tough drama queen heroine VS a seemingly sinister and ruthless, but deeply needy and obsessive hero + several charismatic male supporting characters with very different personalities + intelligent female characters]
