Transmigrating into Dong Zhuo: Rewriting Fate on the Path to the Throne

This book tells the legendary story of a modern history enthusiast who accidentally transmigrates into Dong Zhuo and rewrites his fate amid the decline of the Han dynasty in the final years of the Eastern Han and the hidden currents swirling among the various powers.

Newly in power, Dong Zhuo faces subordinates such as Li Jue and Guo Si, who obey his every command. Knowing the terrible fate awaiting him in history, he resolves to change his destiny. He starts by restoring discipline in the Xiliang Army and selecting talented people, then draws the strategist Jia Xu and others to his side to advise him. He introduces a range of reforms, including changes to official recruitment and cultural education, while secretly building up his military strength.

As the story unfolds, Dong Zhuo becomes embroiled in complicated dealings with every faction. He allies with Yuan Shu to counterbalance Yuan Shao, feigns cordiality with Cao Cao, and keeps an eye on Liu Bei and others, trying to recruit them. Although some former Han officials oppose his coronation, he still succeeds in founding a new dynasty.
