A woman transmigrates into a man, one-on-one romance, and the imperial examinations.
A fall down the stairs sends Lin An to the Yu Dynasty. The agricultural researcher is stunned: not only has she become a man, she’s also a frail, frequently ill “protected person”!
As the family’s only direct descendant, the urgent duty of carrying on the family line falls to him.
Lin An looks up at the sky and sighs: I just wanted to do a little agricultural development. Why do I have to pass the imperial examinations, get married, and have children first? To survive, they can only grit their teeth and get on with it.
First, pass the imperial examinations. Only with a title can Lin An pursue agricultural development. The early story focuses on daily life preparing for the examinations, while the later story turns to farming and infrastructure development.
This is a slow-burn story about the everyday struggles of ordinary people at the bottom of ancient society. The male and female leads are devoted to each other, and their romance unfolds gradually. Come give it a try!
(I’m a new writer, so I’d love any pointers to help me improve~)
The writing style is quite good, plain and simple, and you can read it all the time. It is much better than those high-scoring Luo Li Ba novels. I don't know why they have high scores, but people like that kind of writing style. Maybe it's because I have a quick temper. For example, in a story written during the period, the heroine had an allergy during a wedding banquet. The hero picked her up and wanted to take her to the hospital, but her wife refused to let her go, so they just kept pulling at her. They were still pulling at the same spot after writing a chapter. They were speechless. They could have asked someone else to take her away. The heroine was breathing rapidly and was about to go into shock. Then the hero got angry and snatched the heroine away to see the village doctor. . . . Okay, okay, this is the hero who saves the beauty written by the author, right?
It's ok, just average.
It's very good to watch. It's just average and nothing major. When will it be updated? I finished reading it in one day.
Well written! Like
