Naruto: As an Envoy of the Underworld, I Am an Uchiha Castoff

A young man from Blue Star had his soul transported into the River of Three Crossings. Entrusted with divine authority by the Goddess of the Underworld, he was reborn as Lin Wuxue, an illegitimate child abandoned by the Uchiha and Hyuga clans of Konoha.

He had intended to watch the ninja world’s upheavals with indifference, but accidentally saved Shisui Uchiha and, that same night, met the lifelong nemesis destined for him: Aolu, princess of the Land of the Gods.

And when he finally began to face this world, Yukie, an Anbu who looked just like Aolu, appeared at his side.

The Uchiha massacre, the Chunin Ninja Exams, the Third Hokage’s death, the Land of Snow, the Valley of the End, the Land of Demons… Every attempt to rewrite fate and bring things to a better end came with karmic backlash.

At last, Yukie severed her own cycle of reincarnation with the giant scythe of the Grim Reaper. Her soul scattered into the underworld, and Wuxue ventured there alone.

Facing the goddess with her back turned to all living things, he learned that the deity worshiped by the Ōtsutsuki Clan a thousand years ago had once been driven back by the gods of this continent.

Aolu, Yukie, and the goddess of the underworld were all closely connected to the great battle that took place a thousand years ago.

After learning the truth, Lin Wuxu gripped the twin blades of the Nether Moon. He trampled through the bloody mists of the Warring States and the illusory world of the Infinite Tsukuyomi, setting the disordered wheel of time right between Kaguya’s tearful eyes and Hashirama’s lingering obsession.

There is no return from this path. All that remains is a promise to the underworld:

“In the name of setting things right, may we meet again on the other shore.”

“With the power of the Six Paths of Reincarnation, I will protect this world and keep it at peace for all eternity.”
