Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Let’s Create a World with You in It

At the far shore of endless cycles, Homura Akemi has transcended the boundaries between magical girls and demons, reaching a realm close to that of a god. Her obsession has become the power of creation. No longer content to revise or protect, she has carried out her ultimate “Rebellion”: with her own hands, she tore apart the ruins of the old universe and, from absolute nothingness, wove a pure, flawless new world.

Here, there are no witches’ whispers, no Incubators’ cold calculations, and no magical girls doomed to despair. The warmth of the sunlight, the paths of falling cherry blossoms, the curve of a passerby’s smile… She has carefully arranged everything in the world to serve a single supreme law: Madoka Kaname must be happy.

Yet creation is far harder than destruction. To maintain this perfect “birdcage,” Homura must keep burning through her essence, enduring a godlike exhaustion. The laws of the old universe haunt this sanctuary, trying to erode it. Though the Incubators have been shut out, they instinctively spy on this anomalous space-time. And the most dangerous cracks come from Homura herself: from a heart made obsessive and fearful by her boundless love, and from the faint, unconscious doubts of the “residents” she wrote into this world.

As flaws that can no longer be ignored begin to show through the perfect facade, and Madoka’s sun-bright kindness unwittingly touches the “boundary” of the world, can Homura keep her carefully constructed lie intact? Is this world, created at the cost of everything for the sake of one person, a happy Garden of Eden or the most magnificent of prisons?
